Tiburon Wine Cruise 2: Thank You

Thank You Wine Cruisers!
On behalf of the Tiburon Wine Club I would like to thank:

Three Degrees Restaurant in the Lodge at Tiburon
for their excellent appetizer service and the superb selection of wines. Many of us moved on to Three Degrees after the cruise where we raffled off the grand prizes. Andy Alexander and his capable staff took good care of us on and offshore.

Tamalpais Bank - Tiburon

Tam Bank was the band sponsor for the delightful Mountain Jazz of the "Pine Needles". And no, just because manager Scott Pew ran off with the top raffle prize does not mean the draw was rigged.I would also like to thank Tam Bank for the use of their wi-fi network in the Tiburon Wine Club office. Bank customers can drop by and use the computers, reserve meeting rooms, maybe even do a little banking in downtown Tiburon
(www.tambank.com 1652 Tiburon Blvd., next to Knight's Hardware. 415-526-6570).

Drink Daddy
To Dirk for displaying their innovative wine serving tables, raffling one off, and doing a demo in Three Degrees for the lucky winner. You may have seen them showing off their casual lifestyle at the 2007 Tiburon Wine Festival. Best excuse to get together a group of wine loving friends. They popped a little discount coupon into your gift bags.

Tiburon International Film Festival

Sima Boyce of TIFF jumped in and helped out with the ticket table and raffle prizes. TWC hopes to work with TIFF on other events as we lead up to the Mar 13-21, 2008 Film Festival. Two tickets to the Opening Night Gala was one of our grand prize giveaways.

Comet Electronics

Bruce Frank, Electrical Contractor, always full of bright ideas popped a CFL (Compact Fluorescent Light) in your gift bags as a friendly reminder. Bruce became the impromptu Set-Up-Guy for the cruise. He also raffled off one hour of his expert service.

LeVois Vineyards
Maurice LeVois, a Tiburon Resident Vintner was a last minute entry show-stopper. I could not get past his 2005 Zinfandel from Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County. Very addictive. If he doesn't get into the Tiburon Wine Festival on May 17, 2008, I'm switching to Scotch. Do us all a favor and ask Andy Alexander at Three Degrees for a glass of LeVois Zin.

Rotary Sunset Club of Tiburon

Jim Bryant, Charter Member (and Tiburon Wine Club Co-Chair), once again slaved away on silent auction bid sheets, robbed his wine cellar and begged from others to put together a great little Silent Wine Auction to benefit the Rotary.

Al Sunderland

Al and his lovely wife Janice have been quietly photographing the fun events of our quaint little town. A blast to look at now, these pictures will undoubtedly delight future historians.

Tom Wright

Supporter of all things fun in Tiburon, Tom took time away from Gallery 108 on Historic Ark Row to help out with preparations for the cruise.

Angelo Servino (Servino Ristorante) & Mike Gornet (Mr. Handyman)

Unable to attend this cruise, these two wine fanatics donated some incredible wines that raffle winners grabbed and ran off the boat with immediately. Perhaps they were going to share them with us at Three Degrees?
